Order cancellation terms

Have you placed an order on Ved-Distri.com and would like to cancel it? This page explains your rights and how to proceed, in accordance with the French Consumer Code.

1. Cancelling before shipment

As long as your order has not been shipped, you can ask us to cancel it. Write to us as soon as possible at [email protected], stating your order number. If the parcel has not yet left, we will cancel the order and refund you in full.

This request is not a condition of the right of withdrawal described below. You may withdraw even before you have received your order.

2. Your 14-day right of withdrawal

For any distance purchase made as a consumer, you have 14 days to change your mind, without having to give a reason.

  • For a product: the period starts on the day after you receive the order. If your order includes several products delivered separately, it starts on the day after you receive the last one.
  • For a service (a training course, for example): the period starts on the day after the contract is concluded.

3. How to exercise your right of withdrawal

Using the online withdrawal button. Since 19 June 2026, online sellers must provide a free, visible and easily accessible function allowing customers to exercise their right of withdrawal directly, labelled "Withdraw from contract here". Once your request is confirmed, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium without delay, by email.

By other means. You can also send us the model withdrawal form (below) or any other unambiguous statement, by email to [email protected] or by post to VED-DISTRI SASU, 10 rue de la Montée, 68590 Saint-Hippolyte, France.

You only need to send your request before the 14-day period expires.

4. Returning products

After withdrawing, you must send the products back to us within 14 days to the following address: VED-DISTRI SASU, 10 rue de la Montée, 68590 Saint-Hippolyte, France.

  • Return shipping costs are at your expense, unless we state otherwise. We recommend using a tracked service.
  • Products must be returned in their original condition, complete and, where possible, in their packaging.
  • You are liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and proper functioning. An instrument or a piece of jewellery that has been worn, used or damaged may therefore lead to a reduced refund.

5. Refunds

We will refund all sums paid, including standard delivery costs, within a maximum of 14 days from receipt of your decision to withdraw. In practice, once your products have been received and checked as complete and intact, we refund you via PayPal within 24 hours.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the products or until you have provided proof of having sent them. The refund is made using the same means of payment as for the order, at no cost to you. If you chose a more expensive delivery method than standard delivery, the additional cost will not be refunded.

6. Products excluded from the right of withdrawal

The law (Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code) provides for exceptions. In particular, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • products made to your specifications or clearly personalised (for example a custom-made instrument or piece of jewellery);
  • digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, where performance has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose this right;
  • services fully performed before the end of the 14-day period, with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose your right of withdrawal.

7. Special case: training courses (LecherSchool)

If you register for a training course, you also have 14 days to withdraw.

  • If you expressly request that the training begins before the end of this period and then withdraw, you will owe an amount proportionate to what has been provided up to the time you inform us of your decision.
  • If the training has been fully provided before the end of the period, with your express consent and acknowledgement, you can no longer withdraw.

8. Cancellation by Ved-Distri.com

We may have to cancel an order if a product is unavailable, in the event of an obvious pricing error or a payment problem. We will inform you promptly and refund in full any sums already paid.

If we do not deliver within the agreed time, you may, after asking us to deliver within a reasonable additional period, terminate the contract if we have not done so within that period.

9. Model withdrawal form
