Remote Energy Healing: the Secret of the EDD® Lecher Antenna

Timeless energy healing attracts thousands of curious people. Yet Saint Augustine, the Corpus Hermeticum and Abbé Mermet remind us of something we readily forget: to cross time and distance, you first need an accurate setting. That is precisely what the EDD® Lecher antenna makes possible.

A curiosity that owes nothing to chance

A quick look at a few video platforms is enough to see it: timeless energy healing now draws tens of thousands of people, who sit down in front of their screens at whatever time suits them to receive a session sometimes recorded weeks earlier. The idea is appealing because it answers a very old intuition. Yet a confusion has crept into the enthusiasm, and that is what I would like to talk about, with the frankness of a man who has practised energy approaches for more than thirty years.

Many beginners think that since time and distance no longer count, precision no longer counts either. I hold exactly the opposite view.

What the Ancients meant by "outside time"

In Book XI of the Confessions, Saint Augustine admits his perplexity before a seemingly simple question: "What then is time? If no one asks me, I know: if I wish to explain it to one that asketh, I know not." Further on, he puts forward a very modern answer. There are not three times, but three presents: a present of things past, which is memory; a present of things present, which is attention; and a present of things to come, which is expectation. Everything therefore happens in the mind, here and now.

The Corpus Hermeticum goes deeper still. In the eleventh treatise, Mind teaches Hermes an order of generation that I find very beautiful: God makes the Aiôn, eternity; eternity makes the world; the world makes time; and time makes becoming. Time is therefore not primary: it flows from a more stable plane, to which the mind can connect.

That, in my view, is the noble meaning of the word "timeless". It does not describe a session you reopen at any hour like a file, but an attunement with that stable plane, reached through the quality of attention far more than through the convenience of the medium.

From Abbé Mermet to the EDD® Lecher antenna

How, then, can one reach this plane with rigour? The dowsers of the last century showed the way. Abbé Alexis Mermet, born in Haute-Savoie in 1866, published in 1932 Comment j'opère pour découvrir les sources et tous autres objets cachés de près ou de loin (How I work to discover springs and all other hidden objects, near or far), and he is credited with inventing teleradiesthesia, dowsing at a great distance. The researcher no longer travels: he connects.

In the wake of these pioneers, the instrument has gained in accuracy. Around 1888, at the University of Vienna, the physicist Ernst Lecher developed a set-up of two parallel conductors that made it possible to measure wavelength. The antenna that bears his name is its distant heir.

At VED-DISTRI, which we founded in 2009 in Saint-Hippolyte, we hold a clear position. A Lecher antenna worthy of the name meets two conditions. The first is electrical continuity: hand, arm, wire, shunt, wire, arm, a circuit anyone can check with a multimeter. The second is direct programming by frequency. The EDD® Lecher antenna insulates the ends of its wires and forces the current to pass through the shunt, which removes the rear loop. The result, in our approach, is a clearer reading.

Think of a radio. You do not pick up "Radio Hartmann" or "Radio Water" by wishing very hard to hear them: you turn the dial until you reach the right frequency. Remote work obeys the same law.

The right gesture, before any session

For the beginner, everything starts with a return to oneself. Before sending energy healing at a distance, I recommend checking your own balance, as I show in the video How to centre your energies (C/T) with the Lecher antenna (in French). A practitioner who is off-centre measures poorly.

Next comes the support. A silhouette laid on the table, the first name written by hand, the shunt slid slowly along the graduated scale while the other hand holds the arm without gripping it: these are the details that anchor the intention. For practitioners: frequency as memory

Anyone who owns an EDD® Lecher antenna already knows that everything rests on the accuracy of the setting. The RÉPERTOIRE DES FRÉQUENCES (Frequency Repertoire) for the EDD and ASCLEPIOS Lecher antennas, in its 2026 edition, gathers 351 frequencies classified and explained in seven families. It gives the remote session a stable reference point that depends neither on mood nor on the time of day.

The more advanced practitioner will find in it food for thought of another kind. If we follow Augustine, the past only reaches us through memory, that is to say in the present. I see in it the most serious form of timeless energy healing: not going back in time, which I do not claim to do, but reaching what, from the past, is still alive today.

I will add one reservation: I do not know everything about what happens when a session crosses distance, and I am wary of those who claim to. What I do know is that a precise setting is worth more than a vague intention.
