Magnetite – Rough Stone

Magnetite is the most magnetic of natural minerals, and it is the source of the lodestone that guided the first compasses. Its name is said to recall Magnesia, a region of ancient Greece where it was found. This invisible force that attracts iron has fuelled every speculation about the secret links between matter and energy. Lithotherapy associates it with the root chakra and makes it a stone of grounding and attraction, said to help rebalance polarities.
