There are moments when matter seems to remember. The Ernst model is not just another antenna: it is the culmination of one hundred and thirty-eight years of history, from Ernst Lecher's discovery in 1888 of the famous "Lecher line" (Lechersche Drähte) to its reinterpretation by the German physicist Reinhard Schneider, which gave rise to the Lecher antenna as we know it today.

Like our EDD and Rétro models, the Ernst antenna offers the best electrical conductivity on the market. The energy flow follows the classic path: from the emitting arm to the base, up along the Lecher wire, through the shunt, back down the opposite wire, back to the base, and finally closing in the receiving arm.

But the Ernst model introduces a rare feature: the energy loop also passes through the cap itself. It thus closes the exact circle described by the original 1888 experiment, an original rear loop faithful to Lecher's first intuition.

Made of brass for its exceptional conductivity and electrical continuity, each Ernst antenna is assembled by hand by our expert craftsman, guaranteeing a unique, very high-quality piece for those who wish to hold far more than an instrument in their hands: a piece of history.
